[for ENG, scroll down] Due barche da pesca ondeggiano all’ancora sulle sponde di Alicudi, la più piccola e remota delle Isole Eolie. Misura solo 5 km2, come il risultato di ciò che emerge di un grande vulcano, ora spento, formatosi oltre 150.000 anni fa. I capperi e la pesca, per gli eremitici arcudari, sono le principali attività di sostentamento.

[per ITA, scorri su] Two fishing boats sway to the anchor on the banks of Alicudi, the smallest and most remote of the Aeolian Islands. It measures only 5 km2, as the result of what emerges of a large volcano, now silent, formed over 150,000 years ago. Capers and fishing, for the eremit arcudari, are the main livelihoods.
